Doubling up on calories burned when adding manual exercise

Hi,  just a simple question.  Today I exercised at the gym doing a 45 min conditioning circuit with weights and cardio,  I didn’t start the exercise session on my ionic & figured it would detect the exercise.  It did add active minutes and most likely calories from increased hr .. I wanted it to show I did the exercise on my dashboard in the app so put it through manually.  It classed it as 300 calories burned and added it to my total burn for the day.  Did I just double up on burnt exercise calories?  Has it now been added twice, both automatically and manually.  I just wanted it to register as an exercise?  Thanks for any help.

@Gypsy45, if you entered the manual exercise activity with the same times, start and finish, as you did the actual activity, it will not double the calorie burn rate during that time. But, if you entered different start/stop times it will count both.  For example, if you exercised from 9:00am until 10:00am and it was not registered on the automatic exercise screen, and then entered a manual exercise activity from 10:00am until 11:00am it will count calories for both times.
