Hi,
Last night I fell asleep on the couch without my Ionic on (it was charging and I forgot about it)and got about 2.5 hours of sleep. I then woke up & went to bed with the ionic on for the rest of the night. I edited the sleep log in the app to reflect the time but when it syncs it reverts back to the shorter time period. Is there any way to make the hours stick? I obviously won't have sleep stages for that time but it would be nice to have the hours logged correctly as I'm trying to pay extra attention to my sleep habits. Thanks!

I would add the sleep time as a separate sleep record.
I don't think i would worry about editing @New_Jen, since the ionic was. not worn, and you will have no heart rate or movement . It will be as if the ionic was turned off for the time period. It should also change the existing sleep stages to the simple format.

Sorry for the late response but I was away for a few days. I added another sleep event. I agree that's a better solution. Before I saw your reply though, I edited a different day's sleep hours (my Ionic battery died about 2 hours before I woke up) & that one stuck. It didn't revert when my Ionic synced & I lost the sleep stages for the whole night. Is there any way to get the original data back?
i didn't realize I would lose recorded stages because when I was trying to edit previously, it was just adding hours & obviously no stages since I wasn't wearing the Ionic. I figured I would see a couple of hours without sleep stages but that the hours for which sleep stages were recorded would remain intact.

Probably will not be able to get sleep stages back, my only thought would be to manually change the sleep to match the start/stop of the original sleep
