Hi

Yesterday I went for a run and after when I synced my Ionic with Strava I found that I had a moving time of 19 minutes and an elapsed time of 29 minutes. I was puzzled because no ways did I pause my run for 10 minutes...... maybe 2 minutes to take photos!

Today I went for a run to see if it happened again. My moving time was 21 minutes and my elapsed time 31 minutes. I did not pause my run for a single minute so why does the stats show I paused for 10 minutes???

Any help would be much appreciated.

Derek

@SunsetRunner, by "moving minutes" are you referring active zone minutes?

Hi Larry, by "moving minutes" I mean the actual time I was moving (running)

This is very interesting to me.  I was in a WayBetter challenge, and long story short, this caused me to be disqualified from the challenge.  WayBetter goes by elapsed time, however the FitBit tracks time that I am moving with no option for elapsed time.  In this case, the device showed me with a running pace of about 12:30/mile, for about 2 miles, but what synced to WayBetter was >15:00/mile.  If you find out any more about this, please LMK.
