I’ve noticed that other people have the same issue as me. Their elevation gain is not tracked would you include that in one of the upcoming updates?
Also, I would love to see each mile in the total route highlighted in a different color or when pressing on the mile number to see the data better on each individual mile in a multi-mile hike (especially when they’re convoluted).
Thank you!

Just because they haven't used certain data points in the past is no reason/excuse they cannot start using those data points now.
Garmin's just announced devices (FR45, FR245 and FR945) will be using more accurate VO2 max calculations (for example taking temperature into consideration). And the higher end will also provide greater insight into training effect. So it would seem valid for Fitbit to remain competitive they need to evolve the data they collect in new ways to provide better insights.

I would also like to be able to see my elevation gain during an activity on my ionic watch.
I can see time, duration, distance, heart rate, calories, speed, avg speed etc. but not elevation gain.
So if I go out for a cycle and aim to beat elevation gain I can't see this live data and have no idea how much I have done until I check when I end the activity.
