Does anyone else have trouble logging food in your app? Mine is soooo slow I just skip it some days which is totally counter productive and means I'm not getting use of one of the most basic functions and reasons for having a fitbit. I've restarted plenty of times, and unpaired and updated my firmware, the issue is still as bad a ever.  Does anyone have a way to fix this?

Erm....I dunno what this has to do with an Fitbit ionic. You could visit a thread in Fitbit’s app iOS or Android depending on your phone. They probably have specialists in that category

It used to work fine when I had the original flex and the alta, but seems something changed with all the updates and firmware changes. I have ionic now so I came here to see if anyone else has the issue and any suggestions.

Maybe try deleting and re-downloading the app

Thanks @supersmart01234 but I've tried troubleshooting like uninstalling app, with each firmware update I've been hoping it would resolve, no luck yet.

@Minkah, logging food is a function of the Fitbit.com Dashboard or the Fitbit app (you don't say whether you have an Android or iOS), and has no relationship the Ionic nor the firmware version. What app version are you using (in the app, open the Account screen and select Help to display the version number)?

Hi @USAF-Larry I just updated and now running 27.32.4.19 and I'm on Android.  Since last night entering food has been somewhat better but I still have lagging issues with some food items, problems with both food items I created and others in the system database already.  When I select the item the app just cycles and cylces, sometimes it absolutely refuses to recognize the item and I give up. Also, if it recognises the item it lags again after I click "log and add more" or "log this".  If anyone else is having the same problem perhaps the last firmware update has helped, but it's still not completely resolved.

The app is getting slower and slower and more and more difficult to use. It’s almost unusable as it is. When is Fitbit going to address this????
