I'm not impressed. I didn't have any problems with it as it was but I'll check out what improvements have been made. Or maybe it's time to move to Garmin Fenix.
The ionic isn't great looking and it's even less appealing now.

I know, I'm just sulking because I really don't like the upgrade! I loved my Ionic as it was but now it's changed it might be time to look around as overall I would prefer a tracker that looks like a proper watch.

I totally agree, the pictures were one of my favorite things on the ionic also. They added a high end quality feel to the device. It's sad they removed them. They seem to be making bad decisions lately. Maybe Google can straighten them out.

Hello everyone! I wanted to clarify your inquiry about the photos/images no longer available in your Exercise App.
With the new design there aren't any images anymore just the name of the exercise. As seen in the article: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
However, I'd like to give thanks for the feedback you've provided towards the changes in the last Fitbit OS. Rest assured that our team uses this information to further improve our products and services. Know that we provide feedback to our team based on community posts and we are always working on improving our devices and overall environment based on that feedback. 😉

When you Google Fitbit Ionic the majority of the pictures show the the exercise photos that were removed in this update. Must have been a big selling point, it was for me, but I'm sure it's going to disappoint allot of people who decided to stick with Fitbit.

Exactly. I agree. The ionic was their most expensive tracker and they have just downgraded it massively imo with this update removing the pictures.

It makes it more difficult to select the correct exercise while you’re working out. Not just an aesthetic downgrade but also a reduction in usability.
Also the selected Clock Face gets reset back to the default settings (color) after every upgrade.

This change might have allowed the ability to add all 20 exercises to the tracker.
