Extreme heart rate, simplified sleep, and not recording steps

The last week, my Fitbit has “read” my heart rate in the peak range for most of the day.  I’m not doing anything out of the norm, so there’s no reason for my heart rate to actually be that high... it also doesn’t feel like it’s anywhere near that.

my Fitbit has also decided to begin reading my sleep in a simplified format, no longer giving me the complete readings...

and maybe I’ve just gotten lazy over this while covid stuff, but it seems to only be recording about half of my steps...

any suggestions on what to do? Or is it just time to get a New Ionic?

I have acactely the same problem since last update. I am in the peakzone all day about 150 to 170regardless what i do. The strange thing is that in the evening about 10 a clock it goes down to normal and stays so the whole night and beginning to rise about 8 a clock in the morning.

No sleepscore since the update.
I think i´ts time for someone from Fitbit to make a statement about what is going to happen with all the problem customers have.
If they any clues about what have gone wrong and a timeline for a software that works.

I’ve got the same problem. Ionic has stopped recording my heart rate during sleep since the last update. During day, it has heart rate spikes for no reason.

I have the same problem as the other posters.  After latest update it shows "off the chart" heart rates while sitting watching t.v. 188 BPM, really?  Restarted the watch and HR is accurate for a few minutes then up to 146 and rises a beat a second until it goes to 188. The watch is now useless for HR.  The usual BS from Fit bit update. At least the update didn't completely brick the watch as has happened to numerous other posters.  When this piece of s**t finally quits, which I figure is very soon, I will replace it with another brand.  Fitbit, you were a few years ago the best, why do you keep getting worse instead of better?!
