First run with Aftershokz Treckz Titanium Bone Sound Headphones and Pandora

Most of you will probably find it hard to believe that I have run for over 40years(87,964 miles) without music. I was always worried that I would be blocking out sounds that could warn me of vehicles approaching, etc. with regular headphones.

Did a 7 mile run this evening with the Treckz headphones. I was impressed, enjoyed the tunes and was aware of my running environment. Easy set up with the Ionic. Trying out the free 30 day trial with Pandora. Took awhile to download 3 stations but no glitches. I am liking the Ionic, but still wear my Garmin VVA3. GPS off a little with the Ionic, HR is usually 20+ beats over what I run on average. Hey, keep running. It works. Nick

That's good to know! I will try on my next walk. As I have always been afraid I could not hear my surroundings

The Aftershokz Trekz is great for exercise as it allows a nice 'background' music while giving you spatial awareness.

Qn: does the Ionic provide audio alerts of your Heart rate bpm/zone while playing music ?

No, it does not. The Apple Watch w/Nike app will advise with distance and lap pace. Actually, you don’t need a head set to hear it as it emanates
from the watch itself.
Battery life is amazing- over 12hours. Sadly, the Ionic set up with Pandora is quite limited, and the downloads are tedious.
Hey, more important than music and HR, etc is just keep running.
