FitBit Ionic Seems to be Capping my Daily Calorie Burn

Hi there!

I'm wondering why my Fitbit is capping my daily calorie burn at 1,228 calories a day. I'm reviewing my burn for last week and the bar graph every single day hits 1,228 and stops. Unless I'm miraculously consistent with my daily burn, this cannot be right. Is this something I can fix in my settings? Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing that is your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calorie burn, the calories you are always burning just by being alive.  They are always credited, even when not wearing the tracker, and would be the same every day, unless perhaps with weight change.

Are you getting this number from the app?  If so, does the calorie reading on the tracker go higher?  Are you getting any other data on app - steps, sleep, active minutes...?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
