Fitbit Died after 1 year - No replacement offered.

While i was wearing my fitbit ionic it died. My fitbit was just over 1 year old. Fitbit will not cover the cost of new one and will not offer a replacement. I have read many users are having the same issue. Please be cautious with buying anything from Fitbit moving forward. I would hope that the company would warranty a product longer than a year especially if taken care of.

Anyone reading this, i would not recommend Fitbit.  Purchase from another company.

My fridge died the othere day. It was just out of warranty. It is not their problem, it is mine. Sad, and I am annoyed, but thats the warranty. Same with your tracker Im afraid. If the waranty is a year, then you are covered for a year and no more. Thats how warranties work. I agree - make sure you know the warranty terms when you buy something.

Mine just died recently too and they didnt offer a replacement either. My Fitbits have only lasted about a year. I think I might be jumping ship

They've considered it to take a little while after the bail and the end. The same thing with the phones does not update the software and they start to work slowly and forcing you to buy another. They don't make them for eternity. Moya has a 2 year warranty 😀 That's the situation if we want

The fridge can be repaired, the Fitbit tracker goes to the garbage dump. There’s a difference.

Agreed. This is my second ionic that has died and Fitbit doesn’t offer any help other than the basic troubleshooting that doesn’t work.

When manufactures have major issues with their products they usually do something to retain business. Everyone’s ionics are dead shortly after the warranty. Great thing about capitalism is there are plenty of other manufactures with products that last. retaining customers isn’t in the best interest appearently of Fitbit.
