So I recently bought the Ionic Adidas edition and I'm pretty unimpressed with how bad it is at working with other devices. I don't want Deezer or Pandora, so I tried setting it up so I can control Google Play Music on my phone (Pixel 2) but of course the only thing that works is the volume buttons. I don't see an option to play or pause the current track playing. I gave up and figured this feature doesn't actually work.
My last resort was to just manually transfer music to the fitbit and listen directly from it. The fitbit literally says "use the fitbit desktop app to transfer music to your fitbit device"
So I download the desktop app, and of course it will literally work with every device but the ionic!
Both the mobile app and the fitbit says to use the computer app to transfer music. Why the **ahem** can the most expensive fitbit not be used with the desktop app?

Hello @MarcusSt0ne Google play music should be controllable through the Ionic. I have Google play running and the Ionic gives me this screen .
One thing i have noticed is that i need to open the Ionic music control before connecting any headphones to the phone. Once the headphones connect i can close the music control.
Next time i want to control music. It works.

I'll give that order of operations a shot. I wish it would just work how it's supposed to lol
Also I can't control volume via watch with my Apple airpods, but it works fine with my powerbeats. Any ideas on that? Thankfully I use my powerbeats when exercising but it's annoying that my airpods are at a fixed volume.

Yes with my Bluetooth speakers headphone and car radio. i bring up the music control screen in the Ionic. Start the music on the phone, close the music screen on the ionic.
Next time i want to change tracks the music is controllable from the wrist.
The latest update hasn't change anythingawith this .
