Fitbit Ionic Belts is not fixing in the slot

Hi My brother in sent me a New Fitbit Ionic from USA to India. I have received it yesterday. I noticed belt was not in the watch slot as soon as I wore it, I tried everything but unable to fix it. I tried with both belts but it’s not working at all. I can’t hear click sound when I insert it in the slot. Is there any special technique to fix it?

I noticed on mine, especially when it was new, I had to push one of the bands into the watch very firmly. I held it to my ear and pushed the Ionic and the strap really hard into each other and I could hear the click when it snapped into place. So give that a try. I hope you can get it attached properly.
