My ionic died yesterday and I charged it last night, and now it will not sync. Keep getting the "looking" on my app. It synced last at 11:15am yesterday.

Thanks for letting me know that you've charged your Fitbit but it is not able to sync. I'll do my best to help you out with this. First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of the Fitbit app for your device. Feel free to download it. Then, please follow all of these set up troubleshooting steps in order to sort this out.
