Is anyone having issues with their screen on the Ionic? I have had mine now for just over a week and am loving it, but when I move my wrist to look at the watch the screen no longer automatically lights up. I need to press the button and this is a pain.
Have powered down and reset to factory settings, but no luck.
Anyone know of a fix?

Best AnswerI have had this issue as well. Oddly enough, I discovered that my Ionic seems to enjoy setting itself to Screen Wake > Manual occasionally. I have found it set on this a few times, without doing it myself. Perhaps I'm doing it in my sleep?! But I doubt it. Swipe right from your homescreen (clock) and check your screen wake setting (Very first one), ensure that it's set to auto. You probably already have done this though.

Sometimes mine does that too, I think it's because it doesn't detect the movement of your wrist going to check the time or whatever you're checking.

Hi I am having an issue with my wallet app I just put my card into it for the first time and now my card just randomly pops up on screen even though I haven’t touched the button and it’s on my non dominant hand to not sure if it was just a bug but has happened continuously the past few hours since logging it in
Best AnswerAnyone else having this issue? My screen now constantly buzzes and changes screens when nothing is touching it. I think water got inside somehow...but this watch was specifically designed to prevent that so...
No screen protector now, I took that off in case it was the culprit. Still buzzing and changing screens every time I even so much as twitch my wrist.
Yeah I have found this happens when the fitbit battery drops below 25% and does not reactivate after changing must be a built in power saver.
Best AnswerI've had my Ionic for 3 days and a wrist flick seems to work to illuminate the display about 25% of the time. The display stays lit for varying times, from less than a second to about 10 seconds, even when I press the left button. The screen wake is on auto, but it's becoming annoying. Is this happening regularly, or is my device maybe malfunctioning?
Best AnswerI've found that it responds better to smooth movements and rotations.ie. lift arm and rotate wrist.
I was not sure if I was going to stay with the Ionic until I saw that this approach worked. Now it's just a matter of making that my normal viewing behavior. I didn't like the manual setting as the tap to view was very inconsistent and the screen stays on for its full set timeout value and that impacts battery life. On auto it shuts off when it senses that you arm has returned to a non-viewing position.
