Fitbit Ionic Turned off and won’t turn back on

Hello everyone,

 

My ionic turned off today and won’t turn back on. I charged it last night and it seemed to be fine (until about midday). Also, when I plugged the charger in it is making a screeching noise. The reset is not working either. Has anyone encountered this issue?

I had same issue today. Battery was showing 70%. i changed to a new clock face. worked for few minutes and turned off.

Odd seems to be happening a lot. I contacted Fitbit and was given a 25% off code. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing a new one.
