Fitbit Ionic - Wifi Connectivity Issues and Apps Not Installing

To whom it may concern,

I recently got the new Fitbit Ionic a couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with it. Just recently, however, I noticed that it stopped syncing to my phone and to my account. After researching the problem a bit, I tried removing the Ionic from my account, resetting the device, and pretty much reinstalling the device as I did when I first got it. Since doing that, I have had two major issues. The first is that the Ionic has not been able to sustain a consistent Wifi connection. I continually have to restart the device or pair it to my wifi all over again. Sometimes it will tell me that it cannot find my wifi at all, even though the Ionic is within a foot of my router and is connected directly to my computer. The other issue, which I believe may be related, is that my Ionic cannot install a few of the basic apps, including Exercises and Weather (two apps that I use most often). I continually get the error message that says "Apps could not install. Please revisit the Gallery app." I return to the App Gallery to restart the downloads, but they stall before coming back with the same error message. I've tried restarting the Ionic and even resetting the whole process over again, but keep running into the same issues.

Any guidance on how to fix these problems?

I too just recently purchased a ionic had WiFi issues it wouldn’t connect at all was sitting right next to router while customer service was excellent trying to help me they finally sent me a return label to return it it never did connect but I haven’t heard a peep from them and haven’t received a new one I just don’t know I really debated between ionic and apple I’m mostly an apple person I hope this all works out especially knowing you have WiFi issues

I am having similar problems. I’ve had the Ionic for a month and have had to reset it about 5 times. The problem worsened when I added cards to my Fitbit. My iPhone looks for it endlessly. Any suggestions to fix?
