My FitBit Ionic wont charge after about 1.5 months since last use. Has been plugged in for 4.5 hours and nothing has happened; hasn't registered charging and am unable to reset the device.
I've attempted to reach out to customer support but have been left waiting on the live chat feature for a while now, so thought I would post here in the mean time.
I've seen the help article around this issue and have attempted all suggested tips/fixes.
Hoping someone can help 🙂

It was really random, I had attempted all the fixes listed in the article as I said. After a while I attempted to hold all the buttons down again, and this seemed to do the trick. The only thing I can think that was different was that maybe the latter try it was not connected to the charger but not sure if that's related.
Weirdly enough when it turned on it was fully charged as well so it had been charging the whole time but the screen wouldn't wake up.

@Paula_11 hi there,
If your ionic have been updated recently, then it is a code bug confirmed by many others, so you have to press the left and right bottom button (up to15 seconds) to turn it ON. Probably this is the issue you are facing with the ionic.
