I bought a Fitbit Ionic 7 days ago and never got a GPS signal when starting exercise. All the time shows the message searching for gps. I restarted back to the factory settings, but it didn't work.

this afternoon, I started walking exercise and after 38 min for the first time I got the GPS, however, all the time I lose the signal, find it, lose it. Has anyone experienced this same intermittency? I have this week to decide whether to keep the watch or return it and get my money back.

Mine hasn't worked for over a month, I'd return it. Had it over a year and was always somewhat unreliable as far as GPS tracking, now doesn't work at all despite restarts, reset to factory settings. Will try an apple watch.

Today, any smartwatch works well without uninterrupted GPS (any Chinese). I really only like Fitbit software, it has a lot of faces, apps, in short, a pity that the GPS presents problems and I see in the posts the problem has occurred for years.

Thanks for the return, I decided to return the Ionic to the seller.
