Fitbit Ionic has had problems syncing. Now it is super laggy

As posted in other channels here.  By Ionic does not sync.  I have to spend all day hitting the sync button to get Lucky and have the Ionic sync.  So I have been ignoring doing this, since it is ridiculously time consuming.

Now my fitbit is acting very laggy.  Not loading images quickly.  waiting 4 to 5 seconds to turn on when I twist my wrist.  I think it may have something to do with having so much data stored on the fitbit that never synced over.

I've tried restarting and it does not work.

I am just about to give up on fitbit.  The hassle is not worth it.  I will miss some of the exercise coaches, but there are other products that can accomplish close to the same thing.

I too am experiencing problems getting my new Ionic to sync and I can't figure out why.  My first device, the Blaze, never had any problems and was very responsive between screens, etc., but the Ionic is frustrating me.  Fitbit - any suggestions?

same here. So enoying! I wanted to buy a watch for my father too but NO WAY! The software is also very simple .. there not even Favourites for watch faces or apps .. not speaking abt an app that could select watch faces on the watch (very stupid to load watch faces and apps again and again! Soooo disappointed)

Follow up - after reading through some of the help tips on the Fitbit site I found how to "reboot" the Ionic and this time the device has paired with my iPhone and is syncing properly.  Hopefully it will continue to work as seamlessly as my Blaze did because I do like the features offered by the Fitbit devices, and I am looking forward to being able to swim with the device and log my laps, etc.
