Fitbit Ionic malfunctioned after one swim

I have had my Fitbit Ionic for approx 8 months and my wife bought it for me specifically for swimming, I just plucked up the courage to use it in the pool and it has died and I can see condensation on the back. I have emailed Fitbit and am demanding at least a new replacement, terrible quality control really dissapointed !!

Hello @JeremyB14 and Welcome.  Sorry to hear your having issues.  As a long time Ionic owner, I can appreciate your frustration.  It would appear you are already on the proper path by contacting Customer Service and hopefully, they will have a resolution for you.  Please post back should you need further assistance and Keep on STEPPING!
