I was given an early present for my birthday of a Fitbit Ionic to replace my original Surge (which I loved). However, my Fitbit Ionic is not flashing the green light by the sensor and is not displaying a heart rate on the watch or the IOS Fitbit App.
I have checked the watch settings and confirm that the heart rate is set to ON.
I have restarted the watch.
I have factory reset the watch.
I have disconnected, deleted and re paired the watch with my phone.
Help!

Hi @TheFunkSoulBro.
I know you say you have checked the settings and also restarted the watch. Have you tried changing the HR setting to off, then doing a restart, then changing the setting back to on and then restarting again? It might not make any difference, but is worth trying if you haven't already done so.

Hmm. After ANOTHER factory reset, the green light is now flashing on the HR sensor. Great. However, it isn’t reading my heart rate at all and is constantly reporting “—“ (null).
It stated that it needed to calibrate the sensor and to plug in the charger and leave it alone.
It has FAILED this calibration about 12 times and counting 😕
Any my suggestions on how to get past this issue? Without the heart rate being recorded, this isn’t much use to me. 😞
