Is it possible to purchase a new original replacement battery for Fitbit Ionic? Where? After 18 months my Ionic suddenly lost its battery capacity and lasts only like one day till the battery is completely drained.

I found a company offering the battery as a spare part but they say the battery comes from dismanteled Ionics - I do not want to risk the battery ordered there will be in the similar condition as mine.

Hi @Vilda007  there is no original Fitbit Ionic battery for sale. You'd have to go to a third party retailer which has them. Check the warranty for those batteries. Some places sell a battery and their service of installing it. Some people have been able to replace the battery on their Fitbit devices, but most I've seen mentioned were the One, Blaze and Alta. You could always look at the new Sense Fitbit that is being pre-ordered for the end of this month.

Thank you for your reply. I will try to purchase some alternative battery and replace it. I have all the equipment needed and not much to loose - just a few bucks for that battery.

I do not plan to buy another Fitbit as Ionic did not convince me it is worth the money. Buying a (that time) flagship which works for 18 months only is a bit weird.
