Fitbit Ionic syncing to new iPhone X but not discoverable by bluetooth

I recently purchased a new iPhone X and have been trying to get my tracker to connect via bluetooth.  The weird thing is that the phone is syncing to my fitbit and I'm curious as to how.  WiFi?  Do you have any suggestions as to how to make the Ionic discoverable by bluetooth?  I've tried every and all suggestions this message board has offered in regards to syncing via bluetooth and nothing has worked, and my phone still cannot find the tracker via bluetooth.  Thank you in advance!!!

The Ionic only syncs via Bluetooth, WiFi is only used for music transfer, app downloads/updates and OS updates.

If the Ionic is syncing as it should (which sounds to be the case), I'm not sure what the problem is?

I have the same setup as you 🙂

I am not following your issue. It's syncing, but it's not connecting? As the previous poster mentioned, it syncs via Bluetooth.

Have you gone on your iPhone and looked in Bluetooth settings for Ionic? Are you maybe referring to not receiving notifications?

I guess the only issue is that it doesn’t show up on my list of connected Bluetooth devices.

My phone can’t even find it for me to connect to and yet it’s paired with the phone and when I open the app it’s syncs fine.  Is it a huge issue?  No, but it’s a bit annoying.
