Fitbit Ionic won't charge stuck at 0% screen

I am having a charging issue with my Ionic. It worked a day ago then died. Put it on the charger came back hours later to it showing the 0% screen. Tried resetting, tried different power sources, tried resetting while plugged in, tried everything. What can I do. It won't do anything.

I just had this happen to me last night and nothing I tried at the time worked.

 

Then this morning I looked closely at my charger and noticed the center (power) pin appeared to be rusted. So I soaked it in a product called CLR which appears to have fixed the pin. After soaking for a few (~ 15) minutes and rinsing it off it was able to charge normally again.
