I cannot pair my iPhone 7plus with my Ionic. It used to work but now it doesn’t. I thought it was because I restored my phone but after reading this forum I guess not. Anyhow, I deleted the app and reinstalled it twice with no resolve. I deleted my device and added it again. (Twice). At first it paired but then it just disappeared after it went through a really long update. I’ve turned the watch on and off several times and had no response. I’m at my wits end! 😖 I never had this issue with my Blaze. ☹️ In fact I’ve had several Fitbits but, this one has a mind of its own. 🤖 I am tempted to take this watch back to the store and get my money back. What is going on with this watch?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @AOPdiddy, I'm glad to see a new member around! Thanks for already troubleshooting this setup issue, nice way to go my friend!
While reading the steps you've attempted, I was wondering if you removed the Ionic from your account only? If so, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone 7 Plus and remove the tracker from there as well.
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
If you can't get started with your Fitbit device, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements below:
- Note that you can't set up your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth screen; you must open the Fitbit app and follow the on-screen instructions.
- The Fitbit app needs to be updated.
- The software on your phone is up to date. To see if an update is waiting to be installed:
- iOS—Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
- The Bluetooth setting on your phone or tablet is on. To find it:
- iOS—Tap Settings > Bluetooth.
If you're still unable to set up, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Try setting up your device again.
- Restart Fitbit Ionic once again.
- Try setting up your device again.
- If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet (turn it off and then back on).
- Try setting up your device again.
- If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.
If you face Wi-Fi connectivity issue, check this helpful article for more details about this.
Give this a go and let me know how it goes!
