I am using a Fitbit Ionic running version 42.4.19.

I am using an Apple iPhone X with iOS 11.3.

I am using the Fitbit iOS app version 2.48.

I have restarted my iPhone and restarted my Ionic.

In the Fitbit app, when I go to Account > Ionic > Wallet, the iOS app gets stuck at "Preparing…"

Accepted Solutions

I found the solution:

I went to iOS's Settings > Bluetooth > Ionic (info icon) > Forget This Device

Then force quit the Fitbit iOS app, then relaunched it.

Let my Ionic sync

In the Fitbit app, I went to Account > Ionic > All-Day Sync (to re-enable) and confirmed in the iOS request to pair.

I then went to the Wallet and was able to set up my Chase card.

Not sure who is to blame here, but it didn't Just Work. I assume it's Bluetooth bugs in the most recent iOS 11.3 update.

I tried this and it did not work for me. I already have a card loaded in my watch that has been working but unable to open wallet within the app. Device lock on my wrist is no longer working either. Fitbit has become so buggy.

I deleted the app, had IOS forget the Bluetooth and turned ionic off and back on. It fixed the wallet issue. Hopefully it fixed the notifications issue too

@Jshmiller: This likely is Apple's fault, not Fitbit's. Tons of people are reporting new issues with Bluetooth starting with the iOS 11.3 update. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2018/04/03/apple-ios-11-3-problems-battery-life-iphone-blue...

Well maybe so, but I have experienced zero problems with my phone connecting to any of my vehicles, headphones or wireless speaker. The Fitbit update and the IOS update occurred around the same time.

Deleting app, unpairing from Bluetooth, reinstalling app (cannot turn Charge 3 off), then reinstalling nd tapping all day sync did not work for me. iOS 12.2, iPhone XR.
