Fitbit Pay in the Netherlands-Ionic

ANSWERED

Today it was announced that Garmin pay will be available in the Netherlands.

I have bought my Fitbit Ionic more than a year ago under the assumption that Fitbit pay would have been available in a couple of months.

Apparently Garmin has succeeded in making the arrangements where Fitbit has failed (so far). A final push towards a Garmin device!

Hi all!

Thanks for taking the time to add your ABN AMRO or Rabobank (Maestro)card to your Fitbit pay device. For anyone who is still trying to get set up, you can find step by step instructions, here

Great to see that so many of you are already up and running!

For anyone who's card was declined when attempting to pay, I recommend removing the card and adding it again, as @overexposure mentioned.

Feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions!

Same problem here, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and I don't know why. Since even if I am in the same store where it worked last time, it is no guarantee that it will work now...

I've connected my Credit Card. Can I also connect my "normal" debit card? Because there's no such thing as a security code on the back of a debit card.

Hi, yes that is possible and in your Rabobank Tele bankieren app you can find your card number (under card details). For your debit card you don't need the security number.
For ABN I don't know where to find the card number

Hi all. Just checking in here.

Great to see that so many of you have already set up Fitbit Pay on your device. For anyone who is still trying to get set up, detailed instructions on how to add your card can be found, here.

Currently, ABN AMRO (Maestro), Rabobank (Maestro) and ICS (Mastercard) can be added to Fitbit Pay in The Netherlands.

@overexposure Thanks for the assistance!

I am trying to add my ABN AMRO card to fitbit-pay but when I open the wallet to add the card the only option that I have are numbers and in the Netherlands, the Debit cards (Maestro) has Letters and Numbers.

Where can I find the ABN AMRO Maestro numbers to add it to my fitbit pay?

How can I add my card to fitbit-pay?

Hi,

I tried to add a Rabobank debit card but it's not working. It says there is an error and I should check the data filled in. I tried now several times and all the data is right. Please help.

Solved it. For the first name use the "first letter + ." Like common in the Netherlands. If you use the full name you won't be able to add the card.
