Since the recent firmware update to the Ionic, Fitbit Pay has stopped working. I have deleted and reinstalled the card multiple times. I have also shutdown my Ionic and restarted it. Nothing works. At the payment point, my Ionic vibrates but the payment terminal asks me to insert it swipe my card. Obviously,, I can’t swipe or insert my watch - so something is no longer working correctly. Can Fitbit please help

Hi folks. Just wanted to jump in here for a quick spot check.

As many of you are aware, this issue was resolved in a recent app release. The most recent version is 2.88 for Android and iOS. However, I did want to highlight that this fix also requires your wallet app to sync in order to resolve the issue.

Here are the specific steps for iOS:

  • Update the Fitbit app to latest version 2.88
  • Open the app, sync with the device and tap on the image of Ionic/Versa/Charge 3 at the top of the screen
  • Click on the Wallet tile. This will sync the data back to the watch or tracker.

Here are the specific steps for Android:

  • Update the Fitbit app to the latest version 2.88
  • Open the app, sync with the device and tap on the image of Ionic/Versa/Charge 3 at the top of the screen
  • Click on the Wallet tile.
  • Suspend and Unsuspend the first card in the Wallet. This will sync the payments data back to the watch or tracker.

Hopefully, this will help! If you continue to experience any issues with Fitbit Pay, please let me know. Thanks!

I'm still having problems with this: Fitbit Pay randomly doesn't work.

Edit: I can confirm that it starts working after I restart the watch but stops working once I sync with the app.

Edit2: Syncing with the app seems work, if I don't change the watch face.

Edit3: Just realised that this topic is about the Ionic, sorry. I'm using a Versa.

So while having trouble syncing Deezer music to my watch (an issue now resolved - thank you), I did a factory reset of Ionic. Now it seems virtually impossible to make my wallet function normally like it has for the past few years. I can simply not add my usual 2 cards, one credit and one debit. Both cards are issued by supported banks, and both used to work fine on this Ionic's wallet before factory reset. See screenshot.

Any help appreciated.

Update: have generated a new Revolut creditcard which takes literally just a few seconds, and it worked - yay! a little less psyched about having to request a new debit card at my bank though.

Hi there i have just got my Ionic two days ago.

Yes, late in the game. I’d thought after over two years in the market all the kinks would have been ironed out. But I was so wrong. Really a pain setting the Ionic up, Dealing with the hard reset and all was a nightmare. Now I have this pertinent problem of setting up the Wallet tile. I can’t even go passed ‘Get Started’ to initiate the setup. I get a message like this “Invalid Batched Response : 6320”

Got to chat with someone at the help desk and I didn’t get a good sense he knows what he is doing and told me that this is the first time he has seen this message. I am truly flabbergasted.

Any help I can get here will be great. Thanks all for taking the time to read my woes.
