Since the last update a couple of days ago my Fitbit app can’t find my ionic device. It syncs with the aria scales but not my watch

It's nice to see you around the forums @Margotbowen! Since you're having syncing issues, I'd like you to make sure that your Fitbit Ionic is still connected to your Fitbit account. Maybe the tracker got unpaired and that's why it's not syncing? Also, check if the tracker is still appearing on the phone's Bluetooth settings.
Keep in mind that a syncing difficulties may be caused by a missing requirement. Check the following:
If your device still won't sync, try these steps:
Also, check this helpful article for more details about this.
Hope this helps, I'll be around so keep me in the loop!

Thanks for getting back @Margotbowen! Let's do the contrary then, I'd recommend removing your Ionic from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Ionic and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device". Once this has been done, let's do the setup process again.
If you also face with Wi-Fi issues, please check the article: Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
Hope to hear good news this time!

Started having the problem of not syncing and the Ionic running slow since I believe the app update was installed a few days ago.
Just talked to a person who has an Ionic also in my office who started having the same issue.
I think this was triggered with the recent app install. Waiting to see if this is corrected whenever a new version is released. Very frustrating.

I'm having the same problem since the new update. I'm on my 4th day with no syncing and I've tried all the suggestions on these forums.... very frustrating!

I have the same problem as all the other people on this forum. It started with FitBit pay no longer working after the latest upgrade and after all my troubleshooting effort and following all the suggested steps now my Ionic can no longer be found on both my iPad, PC and IOS phone.
Knowing that none of these suggested steps work, I would like to know if Fitbit is working on a fix and if so when might this come out as I noticed that these problems have been reported months ago

Mine won’t either. I’ve turned my phone off and on to no avail

I am having same issues and I am ready to sell and get Apple Watch. I was having no problems until update to new layout on August 14, 2019. Did all of troubleshooting and now nothing won’t connect, can’t be found! I stuck with a Fitbit out of loyalty for 6years over an apple watch because love Alta, then charge 2, now ionic. My daughters are currently wearing the others.

I have tried everything that everyone else has as well and still doesn't work, super frustrating.
Deleted the app & re-installed, Bluetooth off then on, hard reset, factory reset, etc.
I've had a fitbit(s) for over 5 years, thinking it's time to switch to Samsung. I work in construction & rely on my watch for text, calls & e-mails so frankly, I'm pissed.
This has been going on for 9 days and no fix yet?
Maybe that's why the Ionic doesn't come with the option to purchase an extended warranty...
Good job fitbit, seems like you're about to lose a lot of customers.

My problems started with this update too. Woke up to a clock that was off by an hour for two straight days. Deleted app, reinstalled..and followed all other instructions here... not syncing at all now

After an evening of frustration, I pulled out my Fitbit Surge, plugged it in a added the device and it connected immediately to Bluetooth and was up and running in under 5 minutes. Unfortunately this watch is useless as you cannot swipe to change screens... it is an Ionic issue I hope they solve

This just happened to me as well. It last synced last evening. I charged it last night, and today it was not syncing. I removed it from Bluetooth and then would not show up at all to connect with Bluetooth. I have updated the app and I did a reset on the Ionic. It appears to be syncing now, although it isn't on my Bluetooth list as a device. I hope this helps someone else.

Mine can't find it via bluetooth either. And I feel like I literally have an issue every single time I charge it.

I loved my Surge but decided to upgrade to ionic for my birthday. The watch looks great and tells the time, but having all sorts of other issues.
I have removed the device from my fit.com dashboard, forgotten the device from my phone and now trying to re-add it and the phone cannot even see the watch.
