Fitbit battery dies while turned off

Hello,

When I know I won't be using the fitbit for longer than 5 days or more, I have been trying to just shut it off so that it doesn't waste battery.

However, when I come back to turn it on, it is ALWAYS DEAD! It's always at 100% or near 100% when I shut it off. Shouldn't it not lose battery if its shut off? I mean, it's off??! And stored in a normal dry drawer in my bedstand.

Can someone explain to me how the battery is draining when its not even turned on, and if this is just "normal" or not. Thanks!

Same here. 100% to 0% in less than 3 days. However, when worn, it lasts almost a week (without gps)!
