Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Before the latest updates the coach app had permanent workouts ,

After the latest ionic update , i saw the same workouts , but after using one of them there are now totally new workouts , will these remain on the ionic or keep changing ,

is there any way to get the earlier workouts back ?

i used the ab workout for weeks now... but today i noticed it changed to these LONG workouts (no more 10min ab workout i loved, because i have scoliosis with 2 rods in my spine)... i got 3 new ones...it says personalized workouts (which are not personalized), "cardiokick off 27min" , "cardio kickoff 29min" , and "break through 15min"

these changed for me after checking them today... i did not use them since 4 days ago because i took a break over the holiday weekend

You can always used a interval timer called "seconds" on andriod, i paid 5 dollars for the premium version, because i use a super custom Interval training that requires it...

but you can remember what the steps are for the ab workout.. luckly i done it so many times i know the main jist..

was "roughly":

30seconds bicycle kicks

1min forearm plank

30second mountain climbers

12 windshield wipers

9 Superman Planks

Left Side Plank 30seconds

(add in Right Side Plank 30 seconds... was missing from the app)

rest 30 seconds

30seconds bicycle kicks

12 of those things you lay your back on the ground and lift your legs up (knees touching and not bent), going up and down but not touching the ground but getting SOOOOOO close to the ground

1min forearm plank

30second mountain climbers

i might be missing one... but that was it.. for the one im missing just do burpees for 30-40 seconds, that will make up for it 😉

After the latest update to the Fitbit Coach App for the Ionic, it finally works (kind of) as it's supposed to. You get three workouts if you don't have a Fitbit Coach account (the standard ones you previously had).

If you have a Fitbit Coach account linked to your Fitbit account, you'll get one personalized workout and two that will be randomly selected based on your exercise history.

If you have a Fitbit Coach premium subscription, you'll get one personalized and even more randomly selected workouts based again on the exercise history.

Theoretically, you should be able to revoke's Fitbit Coach (or Fitstar) access to your Fitbit Account and after that, if you sync your watch, the app should think you no longer have a Fitbit Coach account, effectively giving you back the three workout sessions that were there before the update.

You can do that by going to the Third party apps data management settings in the dashboard, which should be https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/apps.

Once again i am facing the similar problem , after the latest update of the ionic and ios app , the fitbit coach app on the device does not have the default three workouts , but shows personalised workout ,

i have not logged to the fitbit coach app and also deleted the fitbit coach app from the phone.

On the dashboard in settings i could not find any application linked to my device , how do i get the default three  workouts back in the ionic device ?

I had the same issue and followed the link

https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/apps

I revoked the access of Fitstar, uninstalled Coach from the iconic in the fitbit app and then reinstalled it but removed its ability to use the Internet.

This has given me back the 3 standard workouts.
