The fitbit coach app that is loaded onto the watch used to vibrate in between exercises and now does not. How can I turn vibrations on for this app?

Hi @Cassiev27, it's good to see you around.
First I would recommend giving your Ionic a restart by following the steps here.
If that doesn't work I would next recommend uninstalling the Coach app from your Ionic, restarting it and then reinstalling it again. You can do that by following the steps below.

Have you set up WiFi on your Ionic? If so pop it into the charger (this will active the WiFi connection) and then try to install the coach app again. Hopefully it will be more reliable using the WiFi instead of Bluetooth for the installation.

Can I ask which phone you are using?
Can you try restarting your phone and the Ionic and then try to install the Coach app again.

That's strange, can you confirm the vibrations are actually working on your device at all?
If you swipe to the settings app on your Ionic, tap it and scroll down to vibrations. Tap it to scroll through the options (normal, strong), can you feel your Ionic vibrating when you do this? (it should).

Ok thanks for testing that out. So it would seem that the issue is with the device itself and not the Coach app.
We would need to determine whether the issue is hardware related or software related. Did you mention the issue appeared after doing a firmware update? At this stage, the only thing I can think of would be a factory reset, if it's a software issue the reset should fix that. Obviously it wouldn't fix a hardware issue though, and for that you would need to contact support to discuss warranty options.
