Fitbit device locked and not connected to phone

My Fitbit Ionic got device locked so i tried to reset my PIN-code. After a while of not getting connected i lost patience so i tried to delete my Ionic from my phone and then reconnect it, as this is what i usually do when it won't connect. When i try to set up the device now it is supposed to show a 4 digit code on my Ionic to write on my phone, but on the Ionic it only shows "Unlock with Your Phone" so i can't connect it to reset the PIN-code. What should i do?

A warm welcome to the Community @jonna1999. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. 

To unlock your device with your phone:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 
     
     > your profile picture > your device image. 
  2. Tap Device Lock.
  3. Find the option to reset your PIN code. 

If you're unable to do the procedure posted above, you might want to perform a factory reset

How do I do a factory reset when I can't unlock the phone or connect to it via bluetooth?
