I pulled the charger out of the wall socket the other day and copped an electric shock on my thumb, scared the hell out of me. I also felt sick afterwards, also knowing that yes i should have turned the power off first. But no one expects a charger to split apart and leave all the wires exposed like that. Please be aware of this problem and be careful it doesn't happen to you.where the power went in
beware.

After reading comments about the charger it made me also think if the charger did come with the iconic and i must apologize as i always thought it did, where in fact it didn't. So I'm not sure where the charger came from now. However the warning is still the same, turn power off before unplugging as i found out the hard way. My apologies to the fitbit company for accusing them of a faulty product. . My bad.

What's even scarier is that the charger has the "CE" logo which is supposed to be our reassurance of safety!

I'm sorry to hear that and am glad you are ok.
I'm just a little confused though as in the picture you posted, it looks like that is a USB brick. I thought Ionic's only ship with a cable?
