I recently purchased the fitbit ionic. I went swimming with it in a 25m pool 11 ft at the deepest point. I got it in and it looked like it disconnected from my phone and restarted. Then it turned off and now it wont charge or turn on. Sometimes I can get the screen to light up when it's on the charger but it's still blank and it flashes on and of . Any help????

Hi @Tannerpitt
Contact support. I hope it's under warranty?
More info here. Yours may just be a coincidence - But I doubt it. They simply aren't swim proof.

Fitbit won't AND can't admit this as they would be liable. So the official line is, you CAN swim with the device. But the community is fast knowing better. I'm trying to spread the word as should others. People are loosing hard earned money. For many, these devices are quite a financial outlay.
