Fitbit not measuring sleep correctly.

Fitbit seems to miss the first 2 hours of my sleep. My CPAP machine registered 8.45 hrs asleep. Fitbit registered 5.30hrs . This is a constant problem. Any ideas ? Yours Winston

I'm not sure what data your looking at @Winstonp 

Does the CPAP give the sleep start and stop sleep times? 

The reported Fitbit total sleep time has removed those short periods of awake periods. 

I'm not sure what data the CPAP gives.

Thanks for your reply, The Ccap machine starts when I put the Mask on my
face, if going to the Bathroom I disconnect the hose from the face Mask and
reconnect when I return . If I have any trouble sleeping I remove the Mask.
After 10 min or so I reconnect. Without the Mask I stop breathing up to 50
times an hour . Yours Winston. The information goes straight to Resmed.
