Fitbit os 3.0 weather not updating

Update to 3.0 appeared to go smoothly - took about 10 minutes total. The only problem I'm seeing is the Fitbit Weather app is not working - I get Accuweather  copyright and "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update" which I've done several times.  Tried to re-order cities and re-sync.  Did the wifi connect thing.  All unsuccessful.

Interesting note:  I just installed WeatherCast app and it worked right away.

Using Roman Chrono clock face which has worked fine from the start and the weather (temperature) is accurate.

Any clever ideas?

Woke up this morning and the weather app seems to be working again!

I think that the problem is with the app.  I've encountered this issue many times over the past year that I've owned my Ionic.  The watch works fine.  However, some of the apps do not.  

I recommend patience when it comes to this app.

The weather app is working again.  I had to shut down my watch and the app.  I also rebooted my PC.  After I turned everything back on, the weather app and other functions were working OK.  I am not sure about the inconsistency, but I tend to blame the software more than the watch.  My Ionic has been working OK.  I cannot say the same for the apps.
