Fitbit says I had 20000+ Steps when I woke, but no activity at all in dashboard. How to correct?

Hey Fitbit family I have an Ionic fitbit but that shouldn't matter.  I left it charging last night and through the night it picked up the fan vibration, so when I woke up I had do almost 10 miles 🙂  Problem is there is no activity on my log for any of those hours, so I cannot correct the mistake like I've done with other things like mowing the lawn or motorcycle rides.

Please help, I'm kind of stuck here.

Hey @UtahDano, and welcome to the Forums! If you select the exercise tile(the one with the blue running man), look to the top right corner, there's an icon, click it, look to the top again, one says "Log". Select that option, search up "Driving" and select it, then change the start time and change the duration to that of your sleep. I hope to see you around the forums!

I binged watch a tv show last night and looked at my Ionic this morning before bed. I have over 2600 steps and only .81 distance logged. I did have a few bathroom and kitchen runs but that is a big error. What could cause the error and is there a way to reset my steps for today.

No there is no way to reset the steps for the day, but you could try doing a factory reset to help with the over counting.

Thank you. This is the correct answer. Kind of sucks, but I will let this one go.
