My Fitbit stopped working just a year and a half after purchasing it. I wasn’t a big fan of the product, but what kept me buying was the excellent customer service. I had a Fitbit blaze die and I contacted customer service and they sent me another right away. I’ve told many people about the excellent customer service and decided to upgrade to an ionic. This one also went out around a year and a half later but this time customer service only offered me a 25% discount on purchasing another item that may die within a year and a half after buying. No thanks on the discount as that would still cost me over $200. I will no longer spread the word on what great customer service Fitbit has and I will continue telling others about the less than adequate product. Thanks,
Jake

@SilviaFitbit i appreciate you getting back with me. I understand the warranty can only cover so much, but for me to have 2 fitbits just stop working within less than 3 years is something I couldn’t throw more money into purchasing. And honestly I wish Fitbit took better pride in their product and it were more shocking to them that their top product would malfunction in just over a year. I’ve read many comments from others that have had similar issues. I purchased an Apple Watch and have so far been extremely happy with it, other than the battery life (which I knew going into it that it didn’t last very long) and was my reason for staying with Fitbit as I got 4-5 days on a full charge. But if I have to charge my Apple Watch every day for 5-6 years I’ll still come out ahead of purchasing a Fitbit every 1-2 years. Again, I thank you for getting in touch. Sincerely,
disgruntled Fitbit customer. 😂
