I am wondering when Fitbit will upgrade their swim app to include more metrics in the swim records such as split times, swolf, etc. My Garmin swim watch has all the metrics as standard feature in their app.
Moderator edit: Subject for clarity.

Hi @simwind, it's nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums. Thanks for reaching out and providing your feedback.
We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. The best place to make your voice heard is the Ideas board on our Feature Suggestion section. I found a similar suggestion that could interest you: Show swim split time (not calories) on both Ionic/Versa and mobile app. You can vote for this idea and add your comments.
We look forward to reading your suggestions.
Thank you so much for sharing your comments and for participating in our Community!😺

This is not a fair answer, GraceGfitbit! About 1,5 year ago, we already pledged for better statistics for swimming, also because the calorie use is totally useless! For measuring calories, one has to know, at least, the heart rhythm. But the app doesn’t measure the heart rhythm, when swimming. In the 1,5 year we pledged for better statistics, Fitbit changed NOTHING for swimmers. It looked like there were never enough people and arguments, for Fitbit, to change something. When new people asked for changes, we got the answer: ‘let’s see what other people think about it!’. So we asked how many people there were needed to see that changes are necessary and to see that calorie use during swimming is worthless. Everybody who knows a bit about physiology, knows that giving calories is useless. So for what is Fitbit waiting? We don’t even get the statistics that are shown on the Fitbit itself. You can’t find them back in the app.
So, Please, give a fair answer! Don’t give a standard answer that isn’t worth a thing.
Tell simwind that you don’t plan any updates and that you didn’t change a thing since the beginning of the Fitbit. And tell him that Fitbit isn’t interested in it.

Hi @Frodo007, it's nice to see you here. Thank you for the time you took to share your thoughts with us. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers.
When a Feature Suggestion status is changed to ‘Not currently planned’, that doesn’t mean the votes and discussions aren’t important, especially when those few hundred users are very passionate about a feature and propose a compelling argument that would benefit our global community. We aim to integrate community feedback into next generation devices when it's not plausible to release said feature on a currently released device. If you want to know more I recommend you this help article: How does Fitbit decide what Feature Suggestions are released?
It's always a pleasure to assist you with your inquiries. Our main priority is your satisfaction.
