For curiosity.. who owns Ionic and went on to buy Versa?

This will never happen for me. Not with all the grief I am suffering.

Doesn't fitbit want to know? So will my post be deleted? Let's see..

Utterly disappointed!

I did. However, given you can't easily swap between an ionic and versa it's not something I would recommend.

Not sure why you think your post would be deleted, it's a fair question.

I'm still debating on it myself. I do like the slimmer model of the Versa.

I haven't. I was very disappointed/annoyed that a new watch with very similar features came out a few months later at a price point that was $100 less. Very frustrating.

I did, but I returned the Versa.  I switch back and forth between the Ionic and an Alta HR.  The Versa is nice, but without on-board GPS, it just wasn't functional for me, despite it's "cooler" look.  I think comparing it to the Blaze would be a better approximation, given the Ionic is just so much more useful.

I haven't, but the only con I can see is what @SteveH pointed out earlier with the inability to switch between the two easily.

I've owned several Fitbits over the last few years, but I don't think I will ever buy another Fitbit after my ongoing horrible experience with the Ionic.   And it isn't just that the Ionic is bad.  It's that Fitbit, the company, does indeed continue to release new Fitbits while failing to correct the problems with the Ionic ... a $300 device, mind you ... as if there is nothing wrong.

Words really don't describe my feelings here.  At least, not the non-four-letter variety.

Hi. I saw your statement that you can’t easily switch from the versa to the ionic and back. I have the versa and love it, and wanted to get a good used or discounted ionic. What makes it difficult to switch between two watches? Thanks, Steve

@GPSLuvr the problem is that you can't have both an ionic and a versa connected to your account at the same time as you could with, for example, a versa and a Charge 2.

If you were to add an ionic to your account it would replace your versa. This means each time you swap you have to setup your fitbit again.

@SteveCoatney This is what I'm saying in this forum. Own up to the problems. They ain't. Instead, they are actively deleting comments which truthfully bare out the negativeness of the ionic. And this makes me really angry. I'm angry at the company, not the product.

All other things aside, I would say that anyone who uses GPS-based activities should avoid the Versa like the plague.  Connected-GPS is atrocious on the Versa.
