So skipping past FitBits retarded logic on people with larger wrists (seriously guys beyond stupid and cutting into your own profits is beyond me)
My fix place both the large and small "buckle" bands on each side of the watch.
Grab the small "hole" band and cut off the connecting side (that goes into the watch).
connect both together and tada!
Retarded fitbit logic fixed apparently beyond what their designers are able to comprehend.
This fits my 9.5" wrist that would AT BEST be 9" after i lose some weight and i have 2 holes left before I cap out.

I agree it does seem counter productive to not have extra large bands on a large watch like the ionic. I can see it on the daintier models, but not the ionic.
