I am rarely without my watch. I use it for steps, sleep, heart rate etc. I bought this watch because it could do it all. So yesterday, I took it off to wash some dishes and yes it is waterproof but I never trust anything LOL. I put it in my robe's pocket and didn't think about it all. I thought I put it on the charger but knowing me, who knows. Today I got up and looked at the charger and there was no watch there charging. I thought okay it's in the kitchen but there was something nagging me. I put a load of wash in the washer and then into the dryer. Guess where I found my Ionic watch? Yes in the dryer. One button was missing on the side but I found it. I plugged that button in and clicked it and it worked. Even though it had gone through the washer and then the dryer....it kept on ticking! Crazy huh? I always check my pockets before I put something in the wash but I was in a hurry. I have now reset it back to factory and am downloading the newest updates on it and so far, keep your fingers crossed, it's working. It's at 51% of Step 2 of 3 download. I bet when they made this watch, they didn't realize how water proof and how dryer proof it was. Of course it can still quit on me. Has anyone else done this?

Welcome to the forums @Sigunnia
Wow, what an adventure your Ionic had. I've no heard about an Ionic being washed and dried, but have heard of the One and Zip going through the same thing. Almost an hour since you posted, so I hope things are progressing well for you. Thanks for sharing this with us!
