My question was why I plan to do trekking activities, and there are some activities that last more than 8 hours inclusive. I know that the battery estimate is approximately up to 10 hours, but for some reason the battery starts to last less and I wanted to know what would happen if the clock was turned off.
Observations: In these activities I should remove some functions so that the battery lasts longer. Any advice?

Hi @Briantheworld, it's nice to see another post from you here in the Community Forums, welcome back.
Thanks for your question and the details that were shared. Let me share with you that if you're tracking an activity with your Ionic device using its built-in GPS and the battery runs out of life, the activity will not be saved for you to sync it with your account once the device is charged again. I've had a similar experience while hiking with my Ionic for more than 10 hours, once I charged my device and synced the information that was recorded, the exercise was unfortunately not there. That said, my best advice for you will be to keep checking the battery percentage of your device while doing your trekking activity and then stop it before the device turns off to avoid the exercise to not be recorded.
I'll be here if you have any additional questions.
