GPS+ music battery life

Went for a 6 miles run today first time with the lonic, GPS and music on and died before the 4 mile. Did have less than 40% battery life thought it could handle it. Had been at work all day shouldn't have to come home and charge it before I run. What I don't want to do is run with a phone and the Fitbit seems pointless having both but also thinks it should last alot more than that. Any help would be nice but I want to run with music and GPS working

I would make sure the ionic has more if s charge, you really do not want the battery to get below 20%, ideally not below 30%,

Yes as you found out GPS and music are the biggest users of the battery and why most find they need to charge after using either.

Hey I do this all the time.  So this might help.  I did some timed tests about a month ago that was posted.  In a nutshell max drain was 3 hrs from 100%.  Or 6 hrs if the screen was not on all the time.

Do some more checks and see how your battery life numbers compare to this.

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic
