Yes my ionic has this slow or no GPS connection as well even I'm in the great outdoor. This is unacceptable to say the least. Plz fix this important function asap FITBIT.

My Ionic stopped connecting to GPS about a week ago. I thought I'd add to your comment to let Fitbit know the scale of this issue. I loved my Ionic, I bought it to run a marathon and it worked a treat during my training, then dropped the GPS during the event itself. I had no idea what pace I was running and had to check with other runners while I ran - gutted! That was 4 months ago and it seemed to fix itself?
Now it's stopped connecting again. Nothing. No idea whats changed. Reset the watch, waited outside in the cold till I'm blue... nothing. I've lost two runs that should have counted against a Strava challenge.
Unless I see a positive response in the near future, I'm sorry Fitbit but I'm shopping for a new brand.
