I am confused on Gauges, how does the middle icon heartrate work? Sometimes it shows the circle starting to fill up and other times it is empty.

Accepted Solutions

If you look closely, the circle is split into three sections corresponding to your fat burning, cardio, and peak heart rate zones. The higher your heartbeat is, the more filling the outlines would get. So, by looking at the middle icon you'd have a rough idea of a) where your heart rate is zone-wise and b) how much into a given zone it is.

I think it indicates your current hart rate zone.

It just indicates if it is reading/recording your heart rate.

Correct. Also if you heart rate is low you'll only see the outline of the heart shaped icon, while it's filled just before going into the first zone
