I am about to get the new Fitbit iconic and I was wondering how do I keep the information that I have on my Blaze? Do I have to create a new account?

Best AnswerYou can simply add your new Ionic (or whichever new buddy you choose) to your account and all your info will be saved. I have the Alta HR and Ionic on my account. As long as they are not the same model (in your case, another Blaze), you will be fine. Just go to your Account Settings and select "Add New Device" then follow the instructions . All of your info from your Blaze will be saved, and you can easily switch between trackers. Just make sure that during the setup process all other Bluetooth enabled devices are either not nearby or have the Bluetooth off.
Just a word to the wise, all of your info is stored on the app/website and not on the device itself. The device will store the info for a day and then reset at midnight. Now, after your last sync for the night, the device will add any new information to the app/website the next day for the previous day. In theory, it can store up to a week's worth of information, but after that, the information gets wiped out on the device. So if you go away on travel like I did a few months ago and can't sync for a week, no worries, the device will be able to store all that data until your next sync.
