I doubt you will ever get that, as that is most likely security in place for the banks signing up for Fitbit Pay.
If you do not use Fitbit pay, remove any information and then remove the pin.
My Galaxy Gear S3 with samsung pay also requires a pin everytime i remove it from my wrist. I doubt that will ever change.

Note that after you reset your PIN code, you must add your cards to Fitbit Pay as if you were setting it up for the first time. You can learn more about it by checking this article How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device?.
