Green light staying om when not wearing Ionic

I accidentally left my Ionic on charge all day. Now that I've taken it off charge (which only says 99%?) the green HR light won't turn off, even when I'm not wearing it. Any suggestions on how I can stop this please?

Hi, @Whatsgoingon, the HR led is designed to go off whenever it detects no movement.  However. if yu pick it up, move it in anyway, or sometimes even walk past it, it will pick up the vibrations and detect this as movement and turn back on.  It will not turn off unless it is entirely still and stable.

You can control the HR settings on the watch -- swipe left and find "settings" .  Tap on settings then turn your HR to off.  The LED should turn off.  When you are ready, turn it back on again.

I think it is very unlikely that you did it any harm by leaving it on charge all day, so don't worry!

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately none of that seems to make any difference. It's currently glowing under my bed, no moiivement around. I also turned off the HR already but it's made no difference. Still won't turn off 🤷‍:female_sign:

Try restarting the Watch a few times and see if that fixes it. Let us know how you go

H, @Whatsgoingon, have you tried a restart of your Ionic?  Try this 3 times.

If that doesn't work, unfortunately the next step is a factory reset .  As long as you don't have a lot of music downloaded hopefully that won't be too much of a problem.

After that, I expect you will have no problem, but if the HR lights still won't go off you will need to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com and they will take it from there.

Worst watch ever, always having problems with it.

I would never recommend it to anyone, just sad that my daughter bought one.

Just run cold water on it for a few seconds then wait...

Used to drive me nuts! I would reset, try turning heart rate off then on, rest again, plug in then unplug. Nothing consistently worked. I started having the problem when I would wash with warm water. So I did the opposite and Viola!

I had the same problem, it seems to sort itself out after syncing.
